380 crank end bolt

Post by CumbriaSuzuki »

Anyone know if there's a knack to removing the bolt on the alternator end of the crank?

Cheers

Put a ring spanner on and twat it.
It will be very tight/threadlocked/a barsteward.
If it doesn't go, try tightening a tad, then back off.
Swearing may or may not help unless there is blood.
IIRC, it's a 'normal' thread not left hand.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Ah! Cheers Alan.
I thought I'd better ask before I started twatting it, which is incidentally is my usual course of action. This is virgin territory for me, so I'll be popping up with dumb arse questions every now and again I'm afraid.

Thanks again Alan for that multiple bike insurance link, looks good.
