With shipping and everything on such a heavy piece of steel, it's often easier to source steel yourself and make your own puller. I actually went to a machine shop at a local granite quarry and they had all kinds of scrap steel that they had just thrown onto a recycling pile, too small for them to fabricate anything with but perfect size for me to make a puller plate from. Granted, I only needed a one cylinder puller plate for my 500 (as the jugs are separate) you'll need a slightly bigger piece for a triple (unless the cylinders and head have been cut apart). Good luck!
Slow and steady may win the race, but without loud and fast it's just a waste

All good.. I went down to a machine shop that's part of work.. Managed to get a nice bit of plate cut to size and made up one similar to the one in the thread.. Photo copied the head gasket and made up a drawing to centre punch off... Made a god job of it ( if I don't mind saying so myself). :-)

Just got in the shed and it worked a treat... These barrels have sat outside these past 21 years with no air box or exhaust on the bike.... Number three piston was a bit tight .. But heads off engine 1 and ill do other engine on weekend....
