Starter cover gasket anyone know where to get one?

Post by Rassie »

There is a rubber gasket underneath the cover that goes over the starter, anyone know where I can find one? Checked the OEM micro fiche no luck.

NLA as it was sold with the starter cover which is NLA also. Go to the hardware store and get some soft 1/16' rubber and cut out your own gasket. Had to do exactly that on my 77.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Like, coyote said. Easy to make. Attatch it with contact cement.

Thanks. I would have liked to get an original one, but since they look to be as scarce as honest politicians I will get some rubber strip at the hardware.
