Best way to remove oil lines without banjo bolts ?

I want to clean all my lines and verify that the check valves are not leaking. The lines without banjo bolts seem pressed on. Therefore, is the only option to remove the pump and octapus ? Being that the octapus and other lines will have free play and you can then turn the fitting that has the line pressed on or do they simply pull off ? Why would the middle and right cylinder have banjo bolts and the left cylinder have a pressed on fitting ? I'm referring to all the fittings directly under the carbs. I take you have to remove the starter cover to remove the line on the left cylinder also.

Sounds like a PO botch job. All 6 lines should have banjo bolts. Probably stripped the thread and ad libed on the repair.

Photos are good, so lets see whats going on there on your bike with the lines.

Do you have a picture of the lines? All 6 connections are banjo fittings on a stock octopus with 5 check valves incorporated and one has a an in line check valve.

I suspect that Polaris check valves/banjos might work as replacements, but I have yet to test that theory.

My mistake. I couldn't see what was going on with the left cylinder banjo bolt. I still had the starter cover on. Now that I have it off I see what the deal is. Initially I only saw the 1 SRIS valve above them.

That's a shame. I was hoping to see a solution to damaged check valves.
