I've been looking around for a while, and can't seem to find a petcock rebuild kit for my '70 T350, which is in restoration. It's the vacuum operated kind, and the inner diaphragm has 5 points (pentagon shaped). I know I could go with a non-vacuum type, but I'd really like to keep this original petcock on the bike. I do see a lot of Suzuki petcock kits on eBay, but they all have the inner diaphragm in a square shape. There were a few other threads on here a while ago about getting a new petcock, and I think Babbit's may still have some NOS ones available, but the prices are out of this world (something like $350, if I remember right... ) K&L seems to be a big supplier, but I can't find that they stock this at all....
Any help would be really appreciated!
try looking up-hard to find parts-on ebay motorcycle parts.based in Germany.believe it or not Kawasaki use the same part on some of there early bikes.they do have T350.they have diaphram + spring+ ring for (ouch)$90.
Wow, great tip, thanks!!! I do see them, and some other complete petcock repair kits. Yes, the price is pretty steep, but that's what happens sometimes with these old parts, at least there's something out there. All worth it in the end, I think. Thanks again for the great tip.
