T500 vibration

Post by Doug »

Just got my T500 up and running. I know these things have a reputation for vibrating, but just how much is normal and what,if anything can be done about it?
I heard somewhere that there's a mod to fit GT750 engine mountings?

Without knowing what you have already done to the bike and engine its difficult to comment, but some vibration is of course normal. You did already replace the bushes on the existing engine mounts already ? 8)

changing to gt750 mounts will make no diference except ruin your cases, the article often quoted is utter rubbish, and as Ian says no way anyone can advise without symptoms and then nigh on immpossible on a forum

Okay, thanks,I'll stay away from that conversion then!
I fitted Titan Perf. expansion boxes so I think rubber mounting them might be a good place to start.
