Best method verifying oil pump working ?
The 550 feed lines are much easier to see and monitor that there is in fact oil in them. Compared to the 750. Plus my 750 lines deserately need cleaned. Besides looking at the feed lines. What is the best way to check that the pump is infact working properly ? I understand the adjustment part. But, what happens when the pump takes a dump ? Will you no longer see oil in the feed lines, when that happens ? And is there anything I can do to maintain the pump ? Seal replacement, cleaning contacts, etc. Or do the pumps rarely have problems ?

Oil pumps are bather in oil and rarely have any problems. It is worth checking that you pump is pumping OK at the moment by switching oil color.
