If so, would you be so kind to share the make and model number ? I need to purchase a battery nearby. Thank you.

Pearljam,
If you have a Batteries Plus near you I would recommend these:
http://www.batteriesplus.com/products/5 ... 977/1.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Can't recall which one I bought (it was an AGM battery) and so far no issues. Good price too.

Thank you, my friend. However, I have no batteriesplus near me. Nor, have I ever heard of one. I need to purchase a battery without buying it over the internet and have no clue what brands and models work for the 750. I appreciate the response.RING_DING wrote:Pearljam,

I do have one battery from Walmart - the cross reference to select the correct one actually was listed in the book hanging by the battery rack
and it was a perfect fit. In its second season and no issues.

Thanks Ian. Would you be so kind to let me know what the make and model number of that battery is. Just to be sure. I absolutely have to buy a battery tomorrow and I can't afford any mistakes in reference to time. I would appreciate that, my friend.oldjapanesebikes wrote:I do have one battery from Walmart - the cross reference to select the correct one actually was listed in the book hanging by the battery rackand it was a perfect fit. Apologies - currently I'm about 1000KM from home and can't go out to the garage and eyeball it for you, but if you go to this link, I have posted a useful cross reference list part way down the page. I think you need an ES14LA2 at Walmart, but you can check that yourself to be certain.

That is infact the correct EverState battery that Walmart sells. I had to call Suzuki to verify because Walmart does not have the Gt listed in their cross reference. Suzuki sells other brands with same 14LA2 listed for that bike. ES simply stands for EverState. Other brands use there first two abreviations followed by 14LA2. So, I know you're right. Thank you, greatly. Saved me some headachesfor a very long trip I'm planning tonight.oldjapanesebikes wrote:Apologies - currently I'm about 1000KM from home and can't go out to the garage and eyeball it for you, but if you go to this link, I have posted a useful cross reference list part way down the page.
