t500 fuel line size?

Post by MikGsxr »

hi, does anyone know what size fuel lines fit the t500 carbs? i pulled off the ones the previous owner had on and they are 3/16ths and when i bought new 3/16ths they won't even come close to fitting. even tried lubing them with oil- no way. thanks!

I have no business posting here because I don't own a T500. But from your description, sounds like the line is 6mm (.236). You may have to go to the dealer to get the metric hose.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thanks Coyote, I checked with Fritztc and he said it is indeed 3/16th. my problem is that I bought reinforced hose meant for fuel injected cars/bikes so it is too hard and not pliable enough. bought the correct hose yesterday and it is still very hard to get on but much easier than the reinforced stuff.
