Modern, aftermarket cable throttle???
I do not mind modifying a cable where necessary. I am very good with a soldering iron. I have been looking on ebay and it just doesn't seem right to spend near 50 bucks on a throttle cable (with lower assembly for carburetors & suzuki posiforce.)

Check to see if the cable is still available from Suzuki.
For example, 75 T500 throttle cable is $29 at Babbitt's:

Fairly frequently prices on eBay are higher than NOS from a Suzuki dealer. There's also a fairly big price difference between dealers. Babbitt's prices are usually among the cheapest.

Re: Modern, aftermarket cable throttle???
I bought one from Bike Bandit that turned out to be the wrong part and then I tried to modify a Polaris triple cable and in the end I bought one from Paul Miller. If I did that to begin with I could have saved some money.
If you are good at making or modifying cables, go to Flanders Cables and order inner cable, outer conduit and back of end fittings and make them yourself.
