72 T500 Questions

Post by Syd »

Hello - I would appreciate some help with the following;

Brake Switch - Is the rear brake light switch unit painted black or a natural alum finish?

Chain - What is the correct or best chain to fit to the bike? The rear sprocket has 33-530 stamped on it.

Any that I've seen have been just the natural aluminium finish.

A bit like asking for an oil recommendation :D It is a 530x110 L, so buy a bit longer. O and X ring will require a thin spacer behind the sprocket (a second lock washer usually works) so the chain will clear the plate on the cases. 8)

If at first you don't succeed, just get a bigger hammer !
