T500 - Rear wheel hub washers

Post by Syd »

Hello - On the rear wheel, there are three curved metal tab washers (one for 2 nuts) that are used to hold the 6 nuts in place after the rear sprocket is fitted to the drum hub. Do you bend each tab end once up to each nut or bend each tab end more than once "around" each nut? A photo would be most helpful to show this if available - thanks.

8) Hi,I always do two,but one is o.k.,they are not going to "move" in a hurry even if you only do one,I just think it looks better with two bent. I was thinking of going a bit more modern with mine,& using just the nuts, like on the Suzuki Bandit for example? This does away with the locking tabs...!

Cheers,
