Centre Stand GT250M

Post by gt-twofifty »

Hi, wonder if anyone can help...

I can't work out what is supposed to cushion the centre stand on my gt250, found this image of the centre stand but it must be for a different model because the stand I have doesn't have a flat or a hole for the cushion to go in. (The cushion is 5 on this image if you cant tell)

Anyone know what it could be?

The cushions attach to the muffler brackets.

Parts diagram doesn't show any detail for the brackets.
This eBay item has a good pic of the brackets & one of the cushions:
