Bolts - T500

Post by Syd »

I would appreciate to know if all of the metric bolts sizes used on a T500 are 1.25 pitch?

Nope, Syd. Suzuki follows ISO convention/specs for "coarse" threads as below:

6mm x 1.0
8mm x 1.25
10mm x 1.5
12mm x 1.75
14mm x 2.0

There are places on most Japanese bikes where they sometimes use an ISO "fine" thread e.g.
footpeg mount bolts, engine mount bolts, swingarm pivot bolt, etc:

6mm is always 1.0......although the odd time I have run into a 6mm x 0.8 in special applications
8mm x 1.0
10mm x 1.25
12mm x 1.25
14mm x 1.5

Post back if you need larger sizes than shown above.
