Suzuki 2 Strokes

Which style is correct ? both cast in but one the Suzuki is recessed and the other the Suzuki is raised

So Dave that cover was not like the ones we know you have in your first pic, nor like a new one with the decals. Hmmm now another Buffalo mystery to solve, it must be a very early cover possibly a late 70 or 71 JDM one.
Anyone offering further info, it would be greatly appreciated...

Any mold marks inside the oddball one ??? Absence of mold marks may indicate a knockoff item.....

At the suggestion of one of the Smokeriders members i inspected the cover more closely and saw what he suspected that the cover is just a later model with the metal badge also polished along with the cover . It sure did look like it was all one piece .. oops .. Dave
