I'm sorting out a sidecover to replace my ugly, munted one. My question relates to the "metal" grills that sit behind the sidecover but show through. Are there silver/metallic colour or are they black? May as well get it right first time
Thanks, Mike

Re: 750J Side Cover Anorak Question
Must have been a popular factory option as most of the ones I've seen have been rust also !Zook-e wrote:Oh, and some have been rust.
You know they are still available, brand new, from Suzuki eh ? About $54 each

Thanks guys. I'd heard they are available still but I have nice one that just needs a bit of TLC to bring her back up to spec.

Re: 750J Side Cover Anorak Question
While I'm on the subject of sidecovers - Did the J model oil cover have a CCI sticker on it or not? I notice in the reproduction sticker sets there is none for the J. Yet I see a number of restored Js have the CCI sticker applied Thanks

Re: 750J Side Cover Anorak Question
Yes it did - what it did not have was the 'Suzuki Motor Co Ltd.' label, although as is often the case, I don't doubt that some may have been applied near to the year end model change-over to K's. And it looks like you've found an error in the Field Guide - thanks !! I'll get that corrected !MikeH1A wrote:While I'm on the subject of sidecovers - Did the J model oil cover have a CCI sticker on it or not?
