T500J cables - what colour(s)?

My T500J needs new cables. I looked at a T500J sales brochure and they all seem to be grey except for the brake cable. I always thought all cables were black after this model but I looked on a sales brochure for T500K and they're grey as well, but my T500K sitting next to me has all its original cables and they're all black.

Were there different colours for different markets?

Not the world's greatest dilemma, but close to it. :)

Cheers

Rear brake cables were never made with grey casings even though the rest were in grey, its just one of those weird things.
Its possible some bikes also got left over grey cables in the factory at the beginning of a new model years production for black cables and so grey showed up on some models under these circumstances before the supposed change over.

Sounds like how Ducati used to do things.

Thanks for the response.

I can see it now, a 'new' year model T500 production starts and theres these bins full of the previous years cables which just happen to be grey.
The shop foreman says 'put them on and use them up', I need that space for the new boxes of black cables out back, and so it went back in the good old days.

Then the worker says "Won't that then be problematic for folks in about 40 years when they want to restore them and will be unsure of the correct colour?"
The foreman scratches his chin as says "Never thought of that...hang on, who would want to restore a 40 year old two stroke, you must be joking!"
The worker scratches his bum and ponders for a second..."Good point"
