Brake perches for 72 Buffalo

Post by MikeH1A »

Next question in the saga - I swear I am making progress with her :) :)

Are the brake perches for the 72 model meant to be classic metal finish or painted? My one has peeling black paint and I'm wondering if this may have been a design feature by the P.O. :? Is it meant to be black or the metal finish?

Thanks, Mike

I have NOS 4LS brake perch. Its the typical Suzuki metal finish & the tip of the lever is covered with black plastic.

Both the perch & lever are the typical Suzuki metal finish.

Thanks guys. It just confirms my opinion of the PO as a tasteless sod who shouldn't have been allowed to own such a classic  I shall get the paint stripper out.
