For those wanting to keep their bike the way the factory made them.

Missing gas tank cap assembly.

Post by MazerRackham »

It seems every single gas tank I buy off ebay purposefully neglects to include the assembly. This is my second ebay tank. The first one was destroyed by a rather dense co-worker who tried to fix a dent in my tank by putting the air compressor into it. Needless to say, that ended horribly. Now, by gas-tank assembly I mean the following parts:

44246-15100
09208-03001
09383-02003
09444-06002

Does anybody know where I can get them? The only places that even list them on their websites are shady bike dealers that always refund me the money because the never have the parts. =/

The two places that come to mind are Reiner in Germany (GTReiner1@aol.com) , or Marcel in Holland (http://www.suzukitandgtparts.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Both show stock for most of what you listed. Reiner also has the funky after market fuel gauge caps - or at least, did have at least one the last time I ordered a few items from him. :D 8)

Those sites also say that the oil inspection window rubber is NLA. I just bought one from Motor City. Hey, he needs the parts -- it's worth a shot right?
I have a terrible time trying to surf Dillon's I can't seem to get below 1980.
