'72 GT550 Tank Badge/Emblem Question
I am turning my 1972 GT550 into a cafe bike. The bike has been painted brilliant black (w/pearl). I would like to get away from the stock tank badges/emblems due to the fact that the red on the tank badge(s) do not match the red/orange color of the side panel badges. With the bike being modified already I think the tank badges from the '74 GT550 (chrome with black background) would look nice on my bike...does anyone know if these badges would fit on my '72? Your help and expertise in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

beware if your buying from Brian cutler of replica badges, these are a little smaller than the original ones.

Also be aware that Brian supplies Reproduction Decals, so they often have the same problem.johnakay wrote:beware if your buying from Brian cutler of replica badges, these are a little smaller than the original ones.
