HELP! GT380 GUAGE LENS

Post by 2strokejd »

Hello
So my 3100 mile GT380 guage lens has some whitish film around the outer edges.
So just as a test I very carefully used my thumbnail and was able to remove a small amount. What can anyone reccomend as a method to remove this?

Take the speedo and tach out of the case and wet sand them with progressively finer sandpaper and then use some polish. Start with about 400 or 600 and go from there. Ever see those advertisements about repairing cloudy car headlight lenses, that would work as well, it's just polish and a buffer.
