Hi Guys

Just a quick note to introduce myself and my bike – Yesterday I picked up a 76 GT750 that hasn’t been on the road since 1984. The front brakes don’t work (master cylinder seems to be stuck in) and the tyres and battery are obviously knackered. I’m guessing the crank seals might need replacement too along with various other seals and gaskets. It runs and all the electrics seem to work well perfectly. It has only done 20,000 kms

This is my only Suzuki, it will share the garage with four Yamahas: XS650, XT500, SR500 and a FZX750. I did have a couple of A100’s as a kid though

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and you’ll probably see me on here with all sorts of questions pretty soon

Cheers,
N8

Welcome N8. That's a solid start. and exhaust choices too. That looks like a Bromlech 3 into 1 .

The GS1000 fairing suits it.

Welcome, N8. It seems that you've got a very good starting point for a nice bike there. It's always amazing to me, living in such a dry climate like I do, how that salt ocean air can wreak such havoc on alloys and chrome as your bike shows.
Another Perth resident ?? It's amazing how many guys I've met, both online and in person, from Perth. Muzza, who shows up on this board from time to time and who is a HUGE Titan fan with his own Titan-specific website, lives in a suburb of Perth. He's quite a guy.

Hi N8.....wow....nice buy, that looks a very sound basis for a resto.

We have a few Australian customers, one who lives in Perth. Maybe you'll recognise his bike from a local show?

Nice bike....you will have a great time with it! There's a handful of great GT750 builders/racers in Australia. From drag racing these bullet proof bikes to setting Land Speed Records on them. They are not far from you! Best wishes and congrats for buying one of the greatest bikes of all time.

 G'day Mate welcome, I'm in Sydney with a '76 GT,which I've had for 13 years, bike originally from Bendigo Victoria.Yours looks in much the same solid state as mine did when I first started to restore her!
This is a good forum,I can also recommend the UK based Kettle Klinick.com nice bunch of knowledgeable people on there as well.
Cheers
Roger.
