Just where does this part fit on a Buffalo?

Please help a poor confused bloke. The part in question is:09329-10009 (Stopper, fuel tank) Where does it actually sit on the J model Buffalo?
I ordered this part from GT &T and after a few issues they sent me parts that don't look like the drawings in my parts book for the J model. In the book, the stoppers look semi-circular whereas the parts I received are totally round and look like smaller versions of part 09329-10007 (Cushion, fuel tank front). Any idea what gives with why the parts and diagram drawing look so different? Have I been sent a part froma later bike perhaps?
Thanks, Mike

Looks to be a bit of confusion with the part. Look at the radiator diagram in your parts manual.
For my parts manual, part is shown on the fuel tank diagram, but its location isn't identified. Its also shown on the radiator diagram, which shows the part's use as bolt-head covers for the bolts that attach the radiator.

Correct - these stoppers (09329-10009) are bolt head covers for the upper radiator mounting bolts (09111-08010). Those bolts originally are not just a standard hex head, they have a stepped head to accept the covers. The tank front cushions are 09329-10007. Both the stoppers and the cushions are still available from Suzuki for under $2 USD each.

Hmmm ... interesting but curious also. I have found the diagram re the radiator and can see the bolts and stoppers as you both describe them. Thanks for pointing me in that direction. However, the mystery (for me) still remains. On page 26-1 (fuel tank - seat section) of my parts catalogue there is a funny looking piece labelled as #15 (a U shaped piece) in the schematic and according to the description page this is: 09239-10007 (Stopper, fuel tank).
Any idea what this is? I love (and hate) mysteries
Mike

09239-10007 ? I get a bad number error when I punch this into Zedder. Is it possible you've transposed the numbers ? 09329-10007 is definitely the front tank cushion and item 20 on my page 27-1(Fuel Tank - Seat for the J).
I can see the part you refer to in my parts manual (U shaped piece - and shown on the diagram in area of the petcock between the two seat bumpers) - but its item 18 on my page 27-1. My parts manual covers J and K so you may have an earlier version ? If you'd like to PM me your email, I'll send you scans of the pages I'm looking at - while the image changes in later manuals, the part number stays the same (09329-10009) and is the cover for the bolt heads.
