Label Question

Post by oldjapanesebikes »

Mike in the UK sent me a photo and additional supporting info (thank you !!) about a brake fluid label that goes on the tank between the seat and the tank flap on A and B series GT750's. I don't ever recall seeing these on North American (or at least Canadian :D) bikes and was wondering if it was a region specific addition ? Has anyone else seen these ? And if so, where (US, AU, NZ, DE, UK, CA, FR, etc.) ? Was it also added to L's and M's ?

Thanks ! 8)

My A which was pretty much 100% original did not have either sticker on the top of the tank when it came to me. It is possible the previous owner removed one or both.

Ok, the good news is I have an answer for you, the bad news is I cant speak for all the models/markets. I have an all original 76 Buffalo tank with the brake fluid label on it right below the fuel door as in your photo.
Do you need an actual photo???

If you have a photo, I'll take it please ! And I'm assuming that this was an American tank ?
