Rear brake lever spring and flasher mount

Post by SaltyTitan »

Hi

The rebuild of my 1972 Suzuki 500J is drawing to a close. There is a very satisfying pile of empty Tupperware containers and plastic bags in my work space, and I am now probably just one day away from completing the bike.

I have however two items that are stumping me...

I cannot see a logical place to mount the indicator flasher unit (on the rear fender mount perhaps?) Can someone tell me the location where it is supposes to attach?

The second question concerns the spring return for the rear brake lever. Can someone send me a couple of pictures showing me how it is supposed to be mounted to the the rear brake lever and where the free end attaches? This bike came to me as a pile of parts and I may be missing a bracket or clamp.

Despite looking at as many pictures as I could find online I cannot resolve these two questions, thank you for any assistance. I will post a picture of the bike, when the tank badges arrive!

All the best
