Put the top case on temporarily and it now seems to shift OK. Hopefully it is right. Next problem I noticed when fitting the dry upper case is I have a maximum of 3mm gap at the front of the motor. Back and sides seem pretty close. No obvious reason why. All new seals, but that seems a bit much. Thoughts/Suggestions?

Bearings not sitting down on their C rings or pins, Dowels not sliding into the corresponding hole, or an oil dam hanging up. If the 380 is anything like a 750, there may be steel oil dams that need to be moved to get the case halves to close

Seems to be shifting OK now. Set the top case on and have about a 3mm gap maximum at front of engine. Going to put some electrical tape on a few components and see if I identify what is keeping it from fitting better. No bolts in there but I would think it should be closer than that even with all new seals.

There is a dam in the top case but it is pretty much out of the way. I think the bearings are sitting flush in the C rings but will give them a tap to make sure. Appreciate your suggestions!!!
