Does anybody know the torque specs for the small 6mm oil line banjo bolts?

As far as i know there isnt one. Just tighten them as much as you can so they dont leak but dont overdo it as the can snap because of the hole in the shank.

The original plastic washers were discontinued some years ago. I’ve had no luck with the metal washers Suzuki now sells.

Have been using stat-o-seal washers with good results. https://www.mcmaster.com/standard-washers

There is a torque spec for the oil line bolts. I remember it as being around 1.5 ft-lb but the torque spec sheet on OldJapaneseBikes.com lists it as 1.8 ft-lbs. (see torque spec for triples)

I don’t trust these antique bolts that much & the stat-o-seal washers don’t need as much torque. I torque them to around 1 ft-lb.

The rubber on the stat-o-seal washers is squishy, so the torque builds up slowly. Had me a bit worried the first time I used them.

Take a look at the "Suzuki Service Manual T500 "
page 35 / chapter 8-16-5

5 Nm (3,6 lb/ft)

Service bulletin Specification-3 lists the torque specs for all models.

Standard 6mm bolts is 2.9 — 5.1 ft-lbs
Oil line union bolts is 16 inch-lbs (or 1.33 ft-lbs)
