Centre exhaust pipes on gt380 - can't get 'em back in

Post by Ramjam »

Please help with any advice you may have. I am putting the exhaust pipes back on the GT380 and for some reason can't get the centre 2 pipes to fit in the down pipes. They just can't reach. It's so weird, i can hardly explain. They are about half a centimeter short of actually touching the ends of the downpipe. WHat am i doing wrong?

Bit desperate and feeling stupid

Hi, I'm not quite certain what you are trying to do from your explanation but the centre 2 pipes don't actually fit inside the down pipes. The centre 2 pipes fit inside the rubbers in the special clamps, if your only .5cm off the pipes touching the clamps should take up the gap and seal nicely.
