T500 and GT500 Air filters question.

Can anyone tell me if any T500, and GT500 airfilter sponge elements are the same? If they weren't always, were any year T500 filters the same as GT500 filters?
I've been trying to track down a Unifilter that fits, but there's some confusion about part numbers. Unifilter have a listing for "T500 '73 on" part number NU2407.
So I ordered a pair of those, but they're all wrong -way too large, and listed on the packaging as for "RG500 84-86".

Up to the 72 T500 the filters were the vertical Paper type element. The 73 model T500 to the GT500 use the horizontal foam elements. I'm fairly sure they have given you the wrong filters.
Part no. for up to 72 is 13780-15070
Part no. for 73 on including GT500 is 13780-15310

Cheers for confirming that Parksie, yep Unifilter have screwed up with their part numbers.

To clarify this (in case anyone else wants air filters to GT500).
UniFilter in Australia stock the correct sponge filters, part number is NU 2407-1
NOTE: NOT NU 2407, which is for the RG, and much more expensive, so include the -1 in the part number.
Cost about $17 for the pair.
