After 1971, Suzuki frame and engine numbers are fairly well documented - especially after 1973. What I'd like to try and do next is something similar for the older models - the B100/120's, K10/11/15, M12/15/30. S10/30/31/32 etc. The format would be the same as I did for the T/GT500's on this page:
So, if you have an older pre-1971 Suzuki what I'd be interested in starting to capture in an on-line spreadsheet are basically five things:
- full frame number (the plate number often is a short version)
- full engine number (again - the plate often shows a short version)
- model
- year registered if known (in some cases you can guess the year from other markers on the bike - see this link )
- your name and a photo if you wish to share it
As with the T/GT500 list, this is not intended to be an owner's register but rather is a bracketing exercise. The idea being that as as higher and lower numbers for the same model are shared, the middle ones will be progressively dropped off.
I look forward to hearing from you - as (if ! ) I get some data, I will add it to the spreadsheet at this link for everyone to see.

B100P registered as a 1968
Frame number: 49300
Engine number: 49354
B100P registered as a 1968
Frame number: 49881
Engine number:49904
Although both are registered as 1968's, the original Takasago rims are date stamped 1966. I have three original rims left, all the same year 1966 but different months.
There are no dates on the metal plate that contains the frame and engine number.
- is the prefix B100 ? Or B100P ? If the engine is missing or incomplete, is there a way to tell whether it had a pump or not ? Other than having an oil tank I suppose ?
- and where are the locations of the frame and engine stampings on these models ? Suzuki moved these around over the years, hence the question
Just looking for aids to others that may be restoring these bikes, as those are questions that pop up occasionally.

Numbers are starting to trickle in, and more would be welcomed ! I'll be running an ad in the VJMC magazine asking for members to contact me, as well as in the CVMG magazine.

According to the " All Suzuki's Ever Built Site", there is a 1965 B100 with no oil pump or tank. It was known as the B100. In 1966 the bike went to oil injection and was called the B100P. The P designating Posi Force. The metal tag with the frame and engine number is riveted on the frame just ahead of the right rear shock. My 68's contain the B100P designation on the tag. The frame and engines are only stamped B100. The frame vin number is stamped just to the bottom left of the oil tank. The engine numbers are stamped into the top of the case on the right side of the engine, towards the outside of the case where it meets the clutch cover.
The throttle cable would also have only one cable going to the carb if it wasn't oil injected, not a split one that would also do the oil pump.
I don't think the 65's were ever sold in North America.
I've just finished scanning the B100, B100P and B105P parts and service manuals. The parts manual was interesting as it also included the parts listings for places like Iran and Rhodesia I expect I'll have them online in the next couple of months along with the S32 and T350 parts manuals. It all just takes time .............

I just picked up a 1968 T500 that I'm "hoping" to restore. Needs a lot of work, but hopefully with a some help from the forum I can get it back on the road.
VIN: T500-10794 matching frame and engine

Thank you ! I have added it to the sheet. And would I be correct in thinking the prefix is T305 on both ? Or something different ?
And again for others who may wish to contribute - the link to the spreadsheet is 'Other Pre-1971 Suzuki Models' on this page. Focus is on 'first and last' - it isn't a registry, just an aid to identification and contributions are welcomed.

Another one for your list Suzuki T305 USA bike shipped into France now living in the UK, original bike in very very good condition and showing 7000 mile looking at the bike I would say this is correct

Engine and frame numbers T305-12057
Thank you again - added ! And you didn't mention year of manufacture or registration, so I put it in as a 1969 but can move it eaily if required.
