Another place to ask is Marcel Vlaandere at http://www.suzukitandgtparts.nl. He claims to have a set of seat cover + band for a GT250 for 55 Euros.
The seat of GT250 has a different part ID from a GT380, however I don't know if the difference is at the seat pan, or in measures. I can measure my seat in the evening, if it helps.

Okay, back at home.
I measured the size of the seat cover:
Length (from the front seam to the back seam) is 64cm (25 inches)
Width is about 27cm (10.5inches) (widest)
Width of that honey-comb decoration is 23cm (9 inches) at back and about 15cm (6 inches) in front. Length of decoration is 53 cm (21 inches).
Hope this helps.

Getting the motor out - 71 T500
Ok, I've got all the bits I know that I need to fix some annoying issues - I'm sure there will be more once it's apart. I've got a couple of manuals but not the factory one. My plan is to pull the engine out in the next week or two (never done this before). So, any words of wisdom or common pitfalls to be aware of to make sure I get it disconnected and out in one piece?
Many thanks, Mike

i took mine out by myself. i would suggest getting someone to help you take it out. its a little heavier then it looks. i used ziplock bags and labeled them and put the bolts in as i took them out. and i labeled the head of the bolt so i would know if it went in from the left or right side. im no expert as ive only done One t500. im sure lots of guys here will give you more good advice!

Seat - Chrome strip replacement?
Hey all
Im STILL working on my T125, next problem.
There is a chrome strip which runs around the seat and is held on by very fine bolts which seem to be attached to the strip itself.
They are badly corroded and cannot be undone.
Are these strips available?
Is there any other way I could go with it?
Cheers
