So what is the proper shade and type of red every picture is different. The bike is currently a nice bright red but I'm not sure what the original color was like, and of course is it a regular paint, a metallic or maybe even a pearl type?
I can't help positively but... The red has a bit of 'smoked orange/red' to it. It is a pearl.
It obviously was prone to fading more to the dark orange/red judging from my tank, where you can see the difference on the underside of the tank.
I reckon that you might need to have it matched if you can find a good sample.
The final color of two layer paints can vary a bit depending on how they were applied.
My 71 T350 is Aztec Gold, which is another candy paint. The side covers tend to crack because of the fake air inlets.
I purchased NOS side covers and was surprised at the variation. (The color is uniform & not due to sun fading.)
BAS (Bike Acquisition Syndrome) - too many bikes but have room for more
Here we are a bit late bike's been finished for close to a year very happy with the results. the color is Suzuki zwp burning red. basically a modern candy paint. tank wasn't as good as I thought had a huge dent and a ton of bondo under the old paint but now it is properly done with body solder.
