A100 fork alternatives?

Post by Ash »

Hey all,

I am having trouble finding replacement fork tubes for my A100-2.
Does anyone know of alternatives which might work?

Thanks
Ash

Well I emailed Frank, no reply - guess he not interested.

I bought these beauties instead - http://www.ebay.com/itm/261170062813?ss ... 1439.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Not from the A100 obviously but basically identical and will look cool on the bike.

Looks like you lucked out with perfect timing & scored complete NOS forks at a good price.

Forking by Frank might have only one person dealing with emails. That person could be really busy or on vacation.
Sometimes it worth going "old school" with small companies & calling instead of using emails.

Franks are not really email type people and a reply could take a while even if they are not busy - they don't even take credit cards, never mind something exotic like PayPal :D Just phone or FAX them - very pleasant to deal with and very helpful, but very old school. 8)

Thanks everyone.

What is this "phone" you speak of?? :lol:
Normally I would just call but being in Australia makes it that little bit tricky, and if they don't accept Paypal im not sure how I would send cash anyway.
Looks like they do good work though!

Same sort of problem for me here in Canada - I used a certified bankers cheque payable in USD. Most banks can figure it out - and charge you accordingly :shock:
