72 GT 750 Forks

Post by OneEyeMike »

I've been searching, but have not found the answer, so I apologize if I'm starting a duplicate thread.
What weight of fork oil and how many cc's go into my 72 GT 750's forks?

Many thanks.

Mike.

J, K and L should take 235cc each leg - M and later used 160cc. There is a wide range of views on what oil to use, but I usually put ATF in - I'm sure others will chime in with their own preferences. 8)

Thanks, Ian. Just finished the forks tonight. Tomorrow new rubber , handlebars, and re-assembly. The 72 hasn't been run in 12 years, but that ends tomorrow
