stiffening up front end on t500

I am nearing completion of my T500 build as seen in the customs section. The front end was rebuilt with all new seals, NOS external springs and I used 15 weight fork oil. I have the bike back together and noticed when I sit on it, the forks compress down quite easily. Its not running yet but if I roll it across the garage and apply front brakes, it will dive pretty significantly. I am just wondering what tips or tricks are available to tighten this up? I figured using the higher weight fork oil would help, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference at all.

Oil would only affect damping if you feel it sags too much under a static load you need to either preload the springs with a spacer or increase the spring rate. Although a stiffer spring might make it ride harsh and given the crude damping no amount of tweaking oil viscosity would give a decent ride.

Try some spacers first.
