The 77 GS750 has spoked wheels + rear disc brake. Some of those parts might be useful.

Hi Mark, thats interesting I had not considered that solution I will look into that and when I have completed I will post some pictures.

Here are a couple of pics of my bike. I believe the models that have this wheel hub are the UK RD250 and 400 DX. I have mine laced to a 2.5" rim and run a 110/80-18 tire. It has 36 spokes like most Yamaha race bikes.
This hub uses a standard RD type brake disk, the kind with the aluminum center used on all US spec RDs up to 1978. I have a different disc on my bike just for appearance.

Here is a hub on ebay UK now. A bit pricey, I've seen them for less. I would try to find a seller with the spacers, caliper carrier, etc incuded.

The Suzuki GS does have a good rear disc brake but it is fairly large. I used that setup to convert my GT750 to rear disc.
