77 GT 750 Rear shocks

I have installed progressive springs in my other 77 and just ordered the same for my rider.
The issue today while riding my front springs are soft and the rear now Pogo's with the Wife on as passenger and she's a light weight.
What rear shocks is recommended without getting to costly?
