If you like 20W use it again.

Hi Ian,how heavy are you ? & what type of riding is the bike subjected to ?,
a lot of guys seem to favour 10W in the GT750 forks, but if you've used something else in the past...& are happy, then stick with it,I'm about to change mine & will go with 10W & see how I like it
Cheers,
Roger

I'm going to ask the dumb question. What's the difference in the ride between 10w and 20w?

World of a difference. Assuming you're average weight. I use 20wt in both GT's with stock springs. Depends what you like too. I like a stiffer suspension because most of my riding consists of switch back roads. Some people like a soft set up for slightly more comfort. Regardless, that wt is a good counter to very soft springs. These bikes corner and brake so much better with a heavier wt oil. The noses dive way too much for my liking using anything thinner. The back end of the bike settles down quite a bit due to forks being stiffer. Ever notice how much the tail end whips if you nudge the bars when moving ? That is minimal, with a stiffer set up. If I had progressive springs set up for my weight though. I'd be inclined to try 15 wt first.

20wt works good in the other 77 I'm about 190lbs and the rears suspension works fine with my wife on board BUT if I take my oldest son weighing in at about 200
the rear shocks (stock ) are way too soft and bottom out.
The good news on this other 77 someone has installed aftermarket shocks which maybe a lot stiffer .
On this 750 I'm thinking of maybe 15wt with progressive Springs and see how it feels.
