Emulators in GT750 forks. Is it feasible?

Post by Willie »

Has anyone installed emulators in their Buffalo forks? If so, I'd like some details and opinions.
Thanks,
Willie

It is possible and in fact it's quite easy as long as we are talking 74 on forks with damper rods.

Follow the instructions but you must get a spacer to fit on top of the damper rods (same spacer as an RD400 IIRC). If not teh forks don't pass oil. They are stiff as rocks.

http://pinkpossum.com/GT750/phattrakka2/p3forked.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; shows how not to do it. They need a spacer between the emulator and damper rod. I can check the part numbers if you need.
