gt380 case oil... "fill to" bolt.

Post by zk0ot »

recently picked up a running gt380. he said he probably overfilled the case oil (thats why it dripped).
I was told that the bolt by the kick starter (with the seal) was the fill line.

i opened it up and some poured out.

sound correct?

With the bike on level ground set on the centrestand the oil should not pour out when the level set bolt is removed. If it does put a pan under the engine and leave it open until it stops running out.
Two strokes, its just that simple.
