I'm back! Hello all
Having high idle blues been trying to get her to run a little better by keeping Jetsrus in business!
Finely got her running better but high idle after warm up (2000) all the seals were done a couple years ago.Did carb spray thing to see if any air sucking around carbs just fine.Did notice that right side plug running leaner than left could that right seal be shot? Only put on 3K after new seals. Checked oil lines all tight and read all the threads. I can bump idle down by letting clutch out in gear and it holds fine.
Thanks!

Re: 1974 T500 Idle
I would suggest in order;
Check for slightly tight throttle cables and adjust accordingly.
Make sure both carbs are perfectly balanced.
Set pilot bleed screws correctly.
If that doesn't fix it;
Get carbs ultrasonic cleaned and rebuild carefully and make sure float level is accurately measured. Check float valve seats are not worn.
Good luck.

Re: 1974 T500 Idle
Thanks
When had it apart cleaned carbs in ultrasonic cleaner. I have new valves in it seems to run better I put some new needle jets in and bumped mains to 100's checked oil line on right side it was a little loose no more high idle!
Thanks again!
