Any of you all on this side of the pond using this stuff as gear oil? Or should I go with a 10w40?

Oil is a personal choice. I'm sure many will have different views but mine is 10W40 oil and i change it every 3,000 miles

Don't know about their 20w50, but their gearbox oil additive is the mutts nuts for cars (probably no good on a bike with a wet clutch though).

On a bike I use any good quality motorcycle oil of the correct-ish viscosity. So, under that mantra, Lucas 20w50 should be fine. If using a good quality modern oil, usually you can get away without changing it every 3000 miles with a 2-stroke as it is usually only lubricating the gearbox, not the dirty side of the engine. I do mine at 6000 but only use good quality BIKE oil.
On a 4-stroke however it is a different matter (Follow the manufacturers quidelines).

I originally got some Synthetic when I got the bike. Never needed to add any but luckily I work at a parts store. Simple exchange for the Dinosqueezed stuff and Ill be good to go! Their semi synthetic 2 stroke oil is pretty good too, but it smells like a dirty aquarium.
