Hey Gents
Working on my 73 Gt550 its going well got her running can't believe how nice pipes are no dents or rot.
I'm having trouble trying to find the front part of oil pump cover not the back part that supports lines.
Got GT380 cover NG how come there all gone? I can make one but its a lot of milling!
Thanks for all the help!

Which cover? Big aluminum one (#26) or little 2 bolt chrome one (#27)?

If they are as good as you say, quite a bit. A few hundred to the right buyer, but they need to be near perfect to get top dollar. If you sell them I would suggest waiting until you are sure that whatever you replace them with is to your liking. You might get a set of sporty pipes only to find you can't stand the noise for longer than 15 minutes at a time. Then you may wish to put the standard pipes back on.

Good call I got Higgspeed for my T500 found they cracked at the mounting brackets not even 6 months old think they need to be mounted on some rubber gromets so they can move around a little. They are a little loud.(In a good way!)
Thanks!

I went to the Kawi 2 stroke meet at Deal's Gap a couple of years ago. Always thought about putting on chambers until then! I pulled into the parking lot just as 20-30 2 strokers pulled out! Maybe a third of them had chambers and it was LOUD!!! Over the course of the week I rode with several guys up and down The Dragon and I'll stay with the stock pipes!
Whenever I caught up to a stroker with chambers I had to back off. Couldn't hear my bike, had to watch the tach to shift, and anyone that's been on The Dragon knows you can't take your eyes off the road!

I always like the 1980-90s style microns. They had a nice crisp rasp without too much in the way of excessively loud bellowing. I think it was due to having large silencers. A pity they can't be got for GTs these days. I notice Higgspeed do offer that option of larger style silencers, however it wouldn't be strictly speaking "a period look" for a 1970s bike.

No email! Even tried emailing myself from here and it didn't work. Checked my profile and the address is correct! Checked the junk file too, nothing there!
