Hey guys I've gotten the float height set and got her running pretty good. Need to swap the trans fluid out but no big deal. I have some air bubbles in the oil line but it seems like they only appear after the split in the oil lines. I'm not sure what's causing it I have pulled them off and blew air threw it with a compressor and it fixed the problem for a few rides now I'm back to bubbles in both. Is this usually a pump issue with o rings or maybe something in the junction of the line thanks guys

You really did this ? Usually this ruins the check valves in the end of the injector lines, and normally replacement then is your only option.

There is a valve in the oil line itself? I had it off the bike conpletely

There is a one way valve known as a check valve and it consists of a ball, seat and very light spring. Compressed air tends to force the ball into the spring coils ad after that it will not seal.

Could be crankcase pressure being forced into the lines causing the bubbles. If it is, the check valves are at fault. I'm not familiar with the 500's but it happened to me on both the 550 and 750!

The one-to-two line junction block seems to have a tendency to develop a small hole between the 2 lines.

Had a hole that was surprisingly big in the junction block on a T350.
I cleaned the area & sealed the junction block with liquid electrical tape.

You may have ruined the check valves as Oldjapanesebikes suggested.
An alternative to getting replacement lines is now available.
New check valves are now being manufactured & are available via eBay.

Since I'm a dumb@$$ how do I check the check valves to see if it truly did damage them or not. ?

Again, I'm not familiar with 500's but there are two ways to check the valves on the 750/550's. First: Remove the lines and fill them with oil using a pump style oil can. Hang up the lines with the check valves at the bottom/lowest point. If the oil leaks out over night, the check valves aren't sealing. Second: This is "old school" but it works. Remove the lines, put the check valve end in your mouth and blow! If you can force air into the line, the check valve isn't sealing/working! Let us know what you find!!

I'm pretty sure their shot. The lines are full of air bubbles and when the oil does move it shudders instead of proceeding forward. Both lines are having this issue but rh cyl more than left.

** I blew threw them and couldn't get any air through. I have them hanging upside down so well see tonight or tommorow

After pulling them and letting them sit no oil has leaked out. When I blow into it the fluid slightly move but returns to position. Should I look at the junction box next and Start with the liquid electrical tape.. Or is there Still a chance the check valves are shot? I blew from the pump end and forced the air in. Is it suppose to move from that end or no? Thanks Jacob
