I've read through a number of oil threads, resources, you name it. I've considered the theoretical, the differences between state of the art from 1970 vs. the modern materials of the present. What I need is the practical, what is the best option today, input on fork oils.
For my 1971 T500. In stock form, with a single 240 lb. rider, purposed as a casual daily rider on mainly state and secondary roads (nearly no highway miles). Suggest a good fork oil. Ideally, one that you have actually used in this bike, with both brand and weight.
