Needle valve: Keyster vs Suzuki?

I also paid $51 each from Suzuki for the float needle valve set. The reason I didn't use the Keyster set is as follows:

When I get new needle valve sets I always disassemble to inspect the needle valve and seat. I pull off that little spring-clip that holds the needle valve in the seat - the Keyster spring got immediately deformed and did not go back into shape, but the spring on the new Suzuki valve once removed did not lose its shape. In other words the spring on the Keyster seemed to be poor quality. Also, the small springed-pin in the middle of the Keyster needle valve was a significantly smaller diameter than the Suzuki part - looked more like the size a Honda needle valve.

I'd like to see what the Sudco Mikuni needle valve set looks like - I'll bet they are the same as what Suzuki supplies - but half the cost.

As Kawasaki triples guy, I will never use Keyser kits which are for Kawa b*******. Genuine part only.
RG 500 owner since new, still well and alive
