Time to synch the carbs

Hello everyone. It has been a couple of weeks since I was on here asking stupid questions, but OilyOne has been running fairly well and I have just been enjoying it. I do think it is time to synch the carbs, as they have been apart and off the bike (more times than I care to count) and I do have everything close to right (points, etc.) I purchased a Carbtune from Morgan in England. I have used Motion Pro on all of my four strokes, going off the information in the manual. Sadly, the many manuals I have for my 1974 gt750 say little to nothing about synching with a tool. A service bulletin describes the procedure using the floating ball type of tool. Sean Morgan of Morgan Cartune said remove the plugs from the inlets put in the adapters then adjust until the readings are even. Can anyone elaborate on this procedure a bit? Remember, you are explaining this to a guy that needs things in thier simplest form, such as, do I plug the vac. line? Run it on prime for the procedure?
Man, I write too much. Help me, so I can keep riding and stop begging for help.

One of the simplest ways is using the procedure in the Suzuki carb manual - pages 13 through 16.

For final set up I normally use a Uni-Syn that I used to use on my Austin-Healey :D Works well with 2 strokes as it isn't as affected by the pulses you get with these engines (the Uni-Syn, not the Healey !) . 8)

I've got a Morgan Carbtune as well. I follow the procedure that Ian mentioned (in the manual), and then hook up the Carbtune just for final validation. I've found that the Suzuki procedure is amazingly accurate.
