You mentioned a characteristic about the stock GT750 muffler that sounded similar to what RC cars used long ago. Unfortunately, I don't have MOTA so I can't see what you're seeing. Cars were limited in space so they used a diffuser, a short belly with a side outlet and a flat plate. Supposedly, the diffuser also acted as a long convergent cone to positive pressure waves bouncing off the plate. The plate basically relayed those waves timed for lower RPMs between the port and cone, then came directly into play at higher speeds. I don't have any evidence to support that claim but the stock GT's unusually strong power curve might be just that.

yes i think you are right, could not have been in there that long, it looks almost new and a nice colour blue lol. This PO guy must have been one very good sheet metal guy by the look of the chain gaurd he had rigged up. Maybe he was on to something, how do stroker oil work on a wet clutch, do it have alot of friction inhibitors in it :P

It is unlikely to have done much/any harm even though 2 stoke oil a is a little thin for a trans. We have used 'Zero weight" trans oil with no noticeable differences I might add. Drain the two smoke oil out and let it sit for a while with the drain plug out to allow more to drain out and you should be good to go.

How did you determine it was two stroke oil? The trans oil we use is Red, the last lot we tried was green and we have some gold stuff on the shelf, so it can't have been the color...

i did drain it out and exactly 2200 cc's came out, it was the same as the injection oil. I had burned some to determine it was stroker oil. At about 10 dollars a litre i bet the old weed wacker will be useing it lol. :)

That all depends on the pipe. Some you can and some you can't. If you make the pipe yourself, then the answer is up to you to design it so the stand can be kept.

The key is size and packaging. Small enough pipe is easy to fit, larger pipe may not fit or may be too hard to make it fit through the space and still look good.

I should have been more specific, do you know if you can use center stand with jemco 3 into 1? It would be nice to be able to use it again. I am just wondering if i should bother clean and paint it with the side stand.

I don't believe so. If you had one fitted, you would be the best person to ask  :D.

If you want to mail it to me, I'll dyno test it for you on our test bike and see how well it works - or maybe you already did that comparison to other pipes.

Edit; I see. You just bought a new Jemco 3 into 1. Now it makes more sense.

I'd suggest a dyno run before and after to see what happens. I can't buy all the pipes around - haven't paid for the last one I agreed to buy yet. :(

jemco told me he had them both on the dyno and 3 into 3 made a 20% gain in power. Like you said the 3 into 1 was more like stock, he never gave any peak HP numbers. I am still waiting for the pipe in the mail myself, it would be nice to see and hear some dyno results on that pipe. I didn't want to go through the trouble of cleaning and painting the center stand if i can't use it.

Sounds about right. No one wants to publish power charts and that's understandable. Stock pipes are actually very good, but oh so heavy.
