RD350-400 DG Expansion Chambers on a T250?

Been digging around, I believe I've seen it stated somewhere that the stroke of the bikes are similar and the pipes work out well. I've been offered a set of DG chambers off a RD400 for a nice price, wanted to check here and make sure I'm not making a mistake before I pull the trigger. I know I can make them fit, that's not the issue, I just don't know if it would be optimal for this bike? I guess what I'm asking is... Will it hurt my performance at all? Truth be told (and I know it's a silly reason) I just want the bike to sound better. So if I don't gain too much, I'm happy so long as I'm not losing a lot of power.
Thanks guys

Hi, almost impossible to tell what the pipes will do for performance without actually trying them ... a couple of years back, a member fitted some Kawa H1 chambers to a GT250, here's the thread:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=421&hilit=chambers&start=15" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
At the end of the thread he actually fits a set of chambers from an RD350 and he says they work well -- although by that time the motor had been ported and fitted with H1 cylinder heads so it was a LONG way from stock

I put D&Gs on a GT250 with T350 top end. Runs well
Nice Price... Make sure you check Denniskirk.com
