But if 80 HP can drag a bike along at 170 per at a soulless place like Daytona, and the speed limit is 55 in the US and 65-75 elsewhere, WTF does anyone do with the surplus 100HP?

It would be interesting to see a 750 geared for say around 70 top speed with a dirtbike type chamber on it. Of course I don't know where you'd put three of them on the frame.

Sprocket specialist has some big rear aluminum sprockets for these GT's.

The ST165 I'm planning to set that up for top speed of about 50 mph and putting a big fat dirtbike chamber on it. Hopefully I can improve upon Harley's stock 5 horsepower :wink: ( I probably don't have far to go on the gearing for top speed of 50 either....)
